$105 per person (1 day trip – includes breakfast, lunch and entrance fee) Includes Air-conditioned bus transportation to and from Alajuela, bilingual guide and all meals. Description FIRST DAY Exit Alajuela accompanied
by a bilingual guide. Stop for breakfast. Visit to a banana
plantation if permitted by the plantation administration. Visitors
might be able to see the process of cuts, preparation and packing of
the banana trees for the export, accompanied by information offered
by the guide. Around 10:30 a.m. a boat will take you by the ship
canals of the zone, because there is no terrestrial access. At
arrival to the Lodge the rooms will be distributed. 1:00 p.m.
approximately: Lunch. Around 3:00 p.m. you will have a tour to the
Town of Tortuguero. It does not include entrance to the Marine
Museum (US$1 by pax). 4:00 p.m. Return to the Lodge 6:30 p.m. to 8:00
p.m. Dinner. SECOND DAY Around 6:00 a.m. (the hour depends on the climate) you might be able to go to a “Morning Tour” to visit the secondary channels to observe the flora and fauna of the zone. (Duration 2 hours). The ride it does not include entrance fee to the National Park US$10 by pax. Return to the Lodge for breakfast. 1:00 p.m. approximately: Lunch.
