and GARDENERS CLUB Program at ICLC in ALAJUELA, Costa
Rica. Two to four week Program.
The
program will have two sides, one focusing on Spanish and
the other on observing nature (plants, birds, trees,
insects and the relationship between each other).

Spanish classes: Students
participating in this program will take a minimum of
36 hours of Spanish classes, at their level.

Observing
nature: Students participating in this program will
go to a series of sie visits to volcanoes, forests,
waterfalls, gardens, parks, etc.

This program is open for
participants interested in reforestation and also
for friends of nature (conservationists).
In addittion:
- Airport transfer provided if arrival is before
10:00 p.m.
- Room and board with a Costa Rican host family
- Lectures about Costa Rican plants and fruits
The location:
ALAJUELA, the largest province in Costa Rica, is one of
the most important areas for investment, business and
services. Foreign and local investors are choosing the
province of Alajuela as the base of its operations, in
order to be closer to the International Airport and its
services, and to avoid serious problems that capital
city of Costa Rica is actually suffering due to an
increasing uncontrolled amount of traffic and robbery.
In addition, Alajuela offers an appropriate
infrastructure for accommodating visitors, lots of
beautiful places to visit and a quality educational
system that provides professionals in all areas.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 participants
- Participants must be involved in a gardeners
club
